Snow Dog

Shadow loves playing fetch in the snow!

I can hear him now - "Kick the ball kick the ball kick the ball kick the ball!"

IT'S A SNOWBALL FIGHT!!

We woke up to about 3 inches of snow on the ground! Yipee!! And as an added bonus, it was Christmas Day! A White Christmas for us! GrandBob and Katie were out having a grand time!

Taking turns pelting each other with snowballs was fun!

Then CJ came out to play too!

We don't get this stuff in San Diego too often!

He threw one at me too, but lucky for him he missed.

Watch out or he'll get you too!

The weather is a changin'

And it's gettin' cold!

Nothin' like a good ole' North Texas cold front with a little bit of snow and sleet mixed in!

What a good day to stay inside! Annie is thinking the same thing about now! They all practically ran into the barn to get warm!

Even Shadow looks cold!
Wonder what CJ is thinking?
How many time he can hit Katie with snowballs? If only the snow would stick to the ground!

Another model in the family

CJ allowed me to take some posed shots of him, but only for a few short minutes.

This one was a bit to bright!
That's better...
Thank you for posing for me CJ!

My boy

CJ found something interesting.

What could it be?
Oh, a grasshopper. Funny thing that they are still around in the winter!

Oh No CJ! Grammy isn't feeding you?!?

JK! That means "Just Kidding" for those of us who don't text.

They live another day to fight each other instead...

My model

Katie was swinging on the rope swing and saw me coming with the camera. She loves posing!

And I love taking pictures of her!

Farm Dogs

Farms have to have a couple of dogs.

When she was a puppy, Moe showed up with her sisters, Larry and Curly, and her mom Molly. They were dumped in the country and left to fend for themselves. Bad people!! Luckily for them they found their way to my parent's farm where they had it easy. Her sisters and Mom have all gone to the Rainbow Bridge, but she has Shadow to keep her company.

Shadow was another "free" dog who just showed up.

He was full of heartworms though. But after a few trips to the vet he's fine.

And we are lucky he adopted us! What a fun boy he is!
