Outside of Tucson, just off Interstate 10, is a little mountain called Pichaco Peak.
When Jeff was younger and living in Tucson, he would climb to the top of Pichaco Peak.
So he wanted to take us up there too.
Back then he made it up to the top of the smallest peak. Now there are two trails, one to the top of the largest peak, and one that stops at the saddle.
We didn't have time to hike all the way top the top, so we did the shorter trail.
It was a great hike, with views across the valley out over the Sonoran Desert. Beautiful!
