The Whaley House is the number one most haunted house in the United States, according to the Travel Channel's America's Most Haunted.

The kids took turns peeking in a window to see if they could see the ghost of "Yankee Jim".

Thomas Whaley himself has also been seen, "clad in frock coat and pantaloons." And Regis Philbin even reported seeing the ghost of Anna Whaley. We didn't see anything suspicious though. All those 3rd graders probably scared them off!
