We're Back!

Our trip to Florida was a blast, even though we didn't get to see the Space Shuttle launch! We did 3 days of Disney at 4 different parks: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot. If we were to go back, I would love to spend more time at Epcot and Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is too much like Disneyland here, and we have passes to go there whenever we can. CJ's favorite ride was Rock & Rollercoaster at Hollywood Studios, and Katie loved Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom and Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom. From there we went to the Kennedy Space Center, then down south to Naples to check out the Everglades and hang out at the beach. So, I have lots of pictures to share. In fact, my wrist is finally feeling better from days of taking pictures! Today are photos from Magic Kingdom.

This is me, my mom, Katie, CJ and my Mom-in-Law on our annual Granny Trip. They like to take the kids somewhere fun, and no men are allowed. The only reason I get to go is to drive them around. I also supply any military discounts that are available, and at Disney it's $99 for a 5 day pass, which is a wonderful deal. Thank you Disney!

Even with the song that gets stuck in my head, I like It's a Small World. It's even more fun for me to try to take pictures in the dark, like this one from Holland.

Pirates of the Carribean is also another favorite of mine. Maybe it's because of Johnny Depp... Actually, I do prefer the slower rides, but have to go on the roller coasters too so the kids don't get too bored.

The Electrical Parade was fun to watch, but I think we'll skip it next time. Too many people trying to get up front to watch it.

Cinderella's castle is beautiful at night, especially with the full moon rising next to it.
Tomorrow will be more pictures from our Florida adventures, so please come back!

  1. Looks like a fun trip and I've only seen one day of it! Can't wait to see the rest!
