Adam spent the afternoon with us at the base theater, where he answered questions from the audience,
signed autographs,
had lots of pictures taken, and sang.
It was the most beautiful version of "The Star Spangled Banner" I've ever heard.
Then he came into the green room, where we also got to go, and posed for more pictures. My kids couldn't believe they got their picture taken with Adam Lambert!
What a fun day I had being a groupie! And a huge thanks to Adam Lambert. He was so gracious and humble, and I REALLY hope he wins!
And for an extra special treat, here is his version of our National Anthem:
Oh, and don't forget on Tuesday night to VOTE FOR ADAM!
I'm the wife of a Marine, mom to two beautiful kids, and a full time volunteer. Most of my time goes to either the kids' school or the the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society where I help out in their Thrift Shop. I'm also a stamper and a photographer. I would also love to be a horseback rider (again) but have no time!
Wow - that was a moving and powerful version of the Star Spangled Banner -- great pics too!
