Concert in the Park

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra has concerts in the Botanic Gardens, and the night we went they did a tribute to Led Zeppelin. The orchestra was good, but the singer was no Robert Plant. He is a hard act to follow though.

The band played by itself first.

The kids did get a little bored, so we hit the concession stand. CJ got a snow cone,

and Katie got Cotton Candy. Yummy!!

After the sun went down the orchestra came out. Just in time for the mosquitos to start biting!

During the last song, "Stairway to Heaven" the fireworks started.

The kids thought it was worth going after watching the fireworks!

The quality isn't the best but you can still get a taste of the orchestra doing Zeppelin.

  1. What a fun night! Your fireworks shots are FABULOUS! Was Katie a little mixed up in photo #3? I think she was doing a Gene Simmons of KISS immitation at a Led Zepplin concert??? ;-)

I think you need to put together a blog called "The Many Faces of Katie"
